English Language Development (ELD) Resources and Information

Otis has approximately 100 students who speak a language other than English at home.  That is about 20% of our school and there are over 20 different language spoken by our families!

How we support our English Language Learners:

At Otis we are moving towards an integrated and designated support system within the classroom.  We have less “pull out” for our language learner and more of the language support is connected to classroom instruction and students do not miss core curriculum.
