Otis Parliament

The Otis Parliament

For nearly ten years, the Otis Parliament (formerly known as Dads' Club) has coordinated fun activities that build community at our school while giving Otis parents an easy way to get involved. Each year, Parliament organizes exciting family activities for all students and their families, including Math and Science Night, Game Night, Movie Nights, Drum Night, and Build-a-Rama - a Lego-building extravaganza when parents and kids work together to build battling robots.

Parliament also organizes the end-of-year school dance/karaoke party, and coordinates outings to interesting local spots such as Coast Guard Island and Chabot Space and Science Center for evening stargazing. Parliament also takes on the mighty task of operating the barbecues at school events like the Back-to-School Picnic and Fall Carnival.  The PTA appreciates the enrichment, fun, and support from our Otis Parliament.

To join the Parliament, join the Konstella and/or Google group, or contact  Mike Sparber or Jeff Speckels. And be sure to look for announcements in the weekly Otis Outlook for upcoming activities and events.
